Hi Sis!
Happy bufday. Sorry that it took me so long to make the videos; this is my first batch of tempeh I've made since the fire at the previous apartment.
Below you'll find step-by-step instructions for making tempeh with brown lentils. The same process will work for any bean or pulse that doesn't require dehulling. (more on that soon)
I kept the videos all separate so that you can quickly come back and reference specific steps that you forgot something about.
I recommend that for your first batch you use either brown/green lentils or split peas, because they're way less of a PitA than soybeans.
Love you!
P.S. I just want to disclaim that I really am not a super-pro at making tempeh. This not-so-master masterclass will be a good starting point for you, but I still have a lot to learn myself so it's by no means a comprehensive training.
P.P.S. I know you're not really on FB these days but if you want to join the tempeh group, the url is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/551020808568378.
