My two new favorite WordPress plugins

I have two plugins I want to write about today — more as a reminder to myself than anything else. 😉

Ether Content Layout Builder

This plugin is awesome, and ever since learning about it, I’ve been using it on all of my WordPress sites. Basically, it allows you to easily create fully-responsive website layouts, as well as add lots of cool functionality, all within an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop style interface. Using this plugin and Artisteer for the theme, I was able to design, build, and launch my recent Online in a Day client’s fully-responsive website, http://fortcollinsre.com, in a total of just 15 hours.

WP Migrate DB

This plugin’s extremely handy and goes along perfectly with the steps that I follow when migrating a site. What you do is specify your new site’s URL, and then it will so a find and replace on all link, image, etc. paths in the database, and then give you a SQL file that you can import into your new database!
