Most websites are Doomed before they launch.
Why?
Because they aren't built strategically.
How to build a website that works & converts...
My Strategic Deep Dive was created as a solution to the common problem of marching blindly ahead with a website build without first taking the time to really get into the shoes of the user and craft an experience that gives them the info they need and guides them to the desired end result of the website. (Contacting you, joining your mailing list, etc.)
Why bother with Deep strategy First?
If your fundamental website strategy misses the mark, it doesn't matter how great your design is, or how compelling your copy might be... people aren't going to do what you want them to do.
Here are a few common rookie mistakes people make.
(Making even one of these mistakes on your website will likely result in missed conversions and lost business.)
Rookie Mistake:
Making the Site all about you.
Visitors to your website are, at the heart of it all, really just asking themselves one fundamental question: "Can this person help me achieve what I'm trying to do?"
If you don't focus on answering that question for them, your site's going to feel irrelevant and they're going to bounce away.
Rookie Mistake:
Not thinking in terms of problems and solutions.
The things you offer aren't worth much if they don't solve some sort of a problem, right?
It's critical to identify the problems you solve and craft a website that speaks to those problems and solutions. Ideally, in the words your visitors are already thinking to themselves.
Rookie Mistake:
Showing users content that feels irrelevant to what they're looking for.
Our online attention spans these days are short as hell.
If someone visits your website and it doesn't "feel like they're in the right place," they're gone.
They key, then, is to allow them to easily self-select into the type of market segment they fall into, and be served content that's specifically targeted to their unique needs.
Rookie Mistake:
Not wanting to exclude anyone.
All too often, people are afraid to exclude any potential customers they might get, and try to appeal to everyone. As a result, they come across like tap water: nothing special, and ultimately a commodity doomed to compete on price with everyone else.
By determining who your best customers are and building a site exactly for them, you will stand out as highly relevant, and a perfect solution for their needs, and elevate yourself beyond price wars and B.S. tactics.
Rookie Mistake:
Not having a linear start-to-finish flow for increasing awareness and trust.
At a bare minimum, a "meh" site needs to present all the important info that prospects need in order to become customers.
But a truly great website takes it a step further and guides users through a strategic flow that massages them into a state of increased awareness and familiarity with your brand and business, and you soon find yourself being "beyond the competition" because people want to work with you and no one else.
Rookie Mistake:
Not having clearly-defined, non-competing calls to action.
They say that "a confused mind always says no."
It's important to avoid competing calls to action when structuring your site; particularly on the homepage.
You want it to be super clear to your users where they're supposed to go, which means creating one clearly-delineated path for them to follow.
My Strategic Deep Dive was built to steer you clear of these mistakes and guide you towards a website that's going to be highly relevant to your best audience, and attract your most ideal customers.
How the Strategic Deep dive works...
In the strategic deep dive, you and I will hash things out together, with the end goal being to create a master plan for your website.
What it is:
You and I on the phone working together through a deep, holistic exploration of your business, who you serve, and why they work with you.
The format:
We'll chat on Skype (or whatever you prefer), hash everything out, and then I'll prep all the deliverables for your "website domination package," which I'll send your way within a few days via email.
And if we end up working together on your website, I'll already have most everything I need to get started, thanks to all this strategy. And thus, will be all set to start on your project as soon as my schedule allows it.
Time Commitments:
Depending on your needs and level of knowledge around conversions and online marketing, the strategy session itself will take anywhere from 90 minutes to 4 hours. (Anything longer than 2 hours, I like to split into two sessions for the sake of our sanity.)
Prior to booking the strategy session, you'll need to answer some questions for me and do some exploration, which will probably take you around a half hour.
What it Costs:
The cost for the Strategic Deep Dive and all deliverables is just $500 for now, but is likely to increase in price in the future.
If we end up working together on your website, the cost of the strategy session will be applied to your total website bill, making the strategy session effectively free.
What you Get:
Once we've completed the call, in addition to you having invaluable clarity on your audience, offer, and website's structure, I'll deliver the following to you:
